Margaret Beeson, N.D.; Medical Director and
Owner
Focus: Primary Care/Family Medicine
Special Interests: Women’s
Health, The link between dental health and chronic illness.
Education: Completed pre-med at The
University of California, Davis and California State
University, Hayward.
Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and Certificate in
Midwifery from Bastyr
University.
Dr. Beeson brings a diverse background to her medical
practice. While serving four years as a Navy Hospital
Corps person, she received training and practice as a
Physician’s Assistant. Dr. Beeson later worked
as a nurse in many different hospital settings, including
the intensive care unit. She then worked with a physician
in private practice, specializing in allergy, nutrition,
and environmental medicine. After receiving her doctorate
in 1989 and her midwifery certificate in 1991, she completed
a residency at the University Health Clinic in Seattle,
Washington with Dr. Bruce Milliman. Dr Beeson received
additional training in midwifery in India, England, and
The Netherlands. She founded the Yellowstone Naturopathic
Clinic in 1992. Dr. Beeson currently serves on the Alternative
Health Care Board for the State of Montana and is a member
of both the Montana Association of Naturopathic Physicians
and the American
Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
Philosophy: Dr. Beeson sees Naturopathic Medicine as
part of the spectrum of health care options and works
to bridge the gap between conventional and traditional
medicine and dentistry.

Deborah Angersbach, N.D., Associate
Physician

Focus: Primary Care, Family Medicine, Joint Health
Special Interests: Women's health,
including menopause, menstrual issues, natural hormone
replacement, pediatrics, chronic illness Regenerative Injection Therapy, mesotherapy (pain and cosmetic), nutrition, environmental medicine, arthritis and chronic pain.
Education: Pre-med at University of California, Davis; Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Chiropractic, Los Angeles College of Chiropractic; Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University, Seattle, WA. Certification in
prolotherapy, trigger-point injection, regional anesthesia and mesotherapy through NATI (National Association of Therapeutic Injection).
Dr. Angersbach brings 19 years of healthcare experience to Yellowstone Naturopathic Clinic. She grew up in Santa Barbara, CA and after receiving her doctorate in Chiropractic at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, practiced with
Neurologic-Orthopedic Associates in Los Angeles. Dr Angersbach returned to Santa Barbara practicing first as an associate at Santa Barbara Chiropractic and Sports Medicine, then opening private practice in 1992. After 8 years of private practice she moved to Seattle, WA to pursue her dream of becoming a naturopathic physician, receiving her doctorate in 2003 from Bastyr University. Dr. Angersbach is a member of the Montana Association of Naturopathic Physicians and specializes in botanical medicine, prevention of chronic disease, nutrition and environmental medicine.
Philosophy: Dr. Angersbach believes in an individualized approach to healthcare and in the doctor-patient "team." Healing means bringing balance back to our bodies, our lives and our environment.
Jason
A. Servatius, N.D.; Resident Physician
Focus:
Primary Care, Family Medicine
Special Interests: Men's health,
pediatrics, nutrition, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, and
eyes/ears/nose/throat
Education: Received his undergraduate degree
in Sociology from the University of San Francisco, in San
Francisco, California. Completed
his premedical studies at San Francisco State University and the
University of California, Berkeley.
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the National
College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon.
Dr.
Servatius is originally from La Caņada, California, a small,
foothill community of the greater Los Angeles area.
Growing up beside the San Gabriel Mountains and the
Angeles National Forest, he developed a passion for the great
outdoors. He also
took an early interest in the natural world.
This interest led to deeper inquiry, experiences of the
transformational power of natural medicine, and the study of
healing plants. These
studies and experiences eventually led Dr. Servatius to the
profession of naturopathic medicine.
Philosophy:
Dr. Servatius seeks to reconnect people with the healing
power of Nature, the innate force which, given the proper
conditions, allows the body to establish, restore, and maintain
optimal health.

Christina Amicone, N.D.; Resident Physician
Focus:
Primary Care Medicine, Naturopathic Oncology
Special
Interests:
Endocrine disorders including thyroid disorders,
diabetes, endometriosis; Food sensitivities and
allergies; gastrointestinal problems such as irritable
bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis
Education:
Graduated magna cum laude from University of
Connecticut, Storrs Connecticut with Bachelor of Science
in Nutrition and Biology; Graduate of Bastyr University,
Seattle Washington with a doctoral degree in
Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Amicone grew up
in a small town in Northwest Connecticut. While working
toward her bachelor degree at the University of
Connecticut she worked in a nursing home as a certified
nurse’s aide for 3 years. After completing her premed
and nutrition degree she relocated to Seattle,
Washington to pursue her doctorate in naturopathic
medicine at Bastyr University. While studying at Bastyr,
Dr. Amicone became interested in the use of naturopathic
medicine with cancer patients. She tailored her studies
to focus on naturopathic oncology and is currently
involved in the collaboration between Yellowstone
Naturopathic Clinic and St. Vincent Healthcare and
Hematology-Oncology Center of the Northern Rockies to
offer our cancer patients
an integrated approach to their care. In addition to
naturopathic oncology Dr. Amicone also focuses on
gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, thyroid disorders
and food sensitivities.
Philosophy:
Human health is
dictated by our physical body, mental outlook, spiritual
connection and sense of community. Our role as
physician is to identify the true deficit that is
causing disease and work together with our patients to
achieve complete optimal health.

Tanis Kleckler, N.D.; Resident Physician
Focus: Primary Care/Family Medicine
Special Interests: Environmental medicine, detoxification, diabetes, thyroid
disorders, allergies, homeopathic drainage, and flower
essences.
Education: Received a Bachelor of
Science in Biochemistry from Colorado State University
in Fort Collins, CO and a doctorate of Naturopathic
Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic
Medicine in Portland, OR.
Dr. Kleckler was born and raised in
the Loveland-Fort Collins area of Colorado. She began
reading about nutrition and various forms of alternative
medicine in high school. Her continued interest in these
subjects eventually introduced her to naturopathic
medicine. During college and medical school, Dr.
Kleckler worked as a Certified Nurse Aid and care giver
at local long term care facilities and in the home. Dr.
Kleckler also worked for the Division of Wildlife doing
research for water quality standards and for a company
focused on the re-introduction of healthy fats such as
DHA into the American diet. She received her doctorate
in Naturopathic Medicine on June 28, 2006 and is
currently a first year resident at YNC. Dr. Kleckler is
a member of the American Association of Naturopathic
Physicians. While in school, she received extensive
training in the reversal and prevention of chronic
disease through the use of drainage homeopathy,
nutrition and basic lifestyle changes. She also received
extensive training in the use of frequency specific
sound and Yuen energetics; other specialties include
hydrotherapy/nature cure, botanical medicine, and flower
essences.
Philosophy:
Dr. Kleckler focuses on removing obstacles to cure by
empowering patients with knowledge, insights and
treatments which facilitate healing.

Patricia Holl, D.C.
Focus: Chiropractic Medicine
Special Interests:
Spinal
care and management, acute and chronic injury, joint
disorders, personal fitness training and education,
chiropractic for the equestrian, equine and canine.
Education: Honors
graduate from Rutger's University, Bachelor of Arts in
Psychology. Doctor of Chiropractic, Los Angeles College
of Chiropractic. Certification in Manipulation Under
Anesthesia, California Academy For Manipulation Under
Anesthesia. Basic Animal Chiropractic, Options For
Animals International Academy of Animal Chiropractic,
Kansas.
Dr
Holl comes to Yellowstone Naturopathic Clinic with
extensive experience in chiropractic medicine and
co-management with multi-specialty physicians. After
working in private practice shortly after attaining her
doctorate, she joined a large multi-specialty facility
in Los Angeles which specialized in orthopedic medicine
and employed numerous specialists including orthopedic
surgeons, internists, neurologists, psychologists, pain
management physicians and general surgeons. Patient
co-management with these professionals served to expand
and integrate her knowledge and expertise in the
provision of care of her patients. After becoming
certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia, she
performed hundreds of cases with affirmative and
encouraging clinical outcome. She values the
interdependency medicine has upon itself, recognizing
that integrative care and co-management are the keys to
providing optimal health care. Dr. Holl is also
certified in Basic Animal Chiropractic, having completed
post-graduate training at the Options For Animals
International Academy of Animal Chiropractic in Kansas.
Philosophy: Comprehensive
healthcare involves patient-doctor commitment to health,
integrative medical care, and continued and unremitting
patient education.

Kara Burpee, M.S., L.Ac.
Focus: Acupuncture
Special Interests: Women's
Health, Pediatrics, Pain Management, Wellness, Constitutional
Facial Acupuncture.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
in Natural Health Sciences and Masters of Science in
Acupuncture from Bastyr University.
Raised in
the Seattle Metro area, Kara began her career as an EMT,
and a nurse's aide, while also teaching first aid and
CPR since 1995. After graduating from Bastyr University in December
2001, she started a private
practice in Renton, Washington before moving to Montana.
She opened her practice in Billings in a
multi-discipline facility in May of 2004 where she
worked until joining Yellowstone Naturopathic
Clinic. Kara is certified in Constitutional Facial
Acupuncture and is a member of the Montana Association
of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Philosophy:
Kara believes acupuncture is a rewarding experience for anyone.
She takes a gentle approach to Oriental Medicine and strives to
see qualitative improvement in all of her patients.
