To begin care
at Yellowstone Naturopathic Clinic:
For appointments with Dr. Beeson:
The first
appointment is 90 minutes long. The doctor will take a
comprehensive medical history. During your
visit she will review details of your personal medical history,
your family medical history, your
current health, explore any symptoms you are experiencing, and
ask about any contributing factors
that may be playing a part in your health. This appointment can
be done by phone for patients that live at
a distance. If you prefer to do your first appointment on
the phone we will need pre-payment by
check
or a credit card.
At the close
of your first appointment, the doctor may want to order lab or
x-ray testing. She may also want to
request past medical records from your previous or other current
health care providers. The office
staff will provide medical record releases for your convenience
and can arrange any further testing that
the doctor would like completed. Please Note: Any testing
ordered is not included in the cost of the
visit.
Your second
appointment will be scheduled approximately 2 weeks after your
first appointment. This spacing
allows you to complete any testing that may be needed and for
the doctor to receive and
review any of your medical records. The second 90 minute
appointment must be an office visit as it
includes a complete physical exam. Following the exam, the
doctor will go over her findings with you and
together you will develop a treatment plan.
To provide
supplements, herbs, tinctures, and other products that the
doctors find effective and for patient
convenience, Yellowstone Naturopathic Clinic has an on site
dispensary. Purchased items must
be paid for at the time they are picked up.
The fee for
each 90 minute visit is $220. Many patients with insurance ask
if their policy covers the services
of Naturopathic Doctors. To answer this question you will need
to contact your health insurance
carrier and ask specifically if they cover the services of
Naturopathic Doctors. Some policies do and some
policies do not. In Montana, Naturopathic Doctors are licensed
by the Board of Alternative Health
and are considered primary care providers. Yellowstone
Naturopathic Clinic does not file insurance
claims. However, the invoices you receive will have the
necessary coding required for submission
to insurance companies. We can provide the names of private
contractors that can help you
submit claims. Yellowstone Naturopathic Clinic offers payment
plans that can be set up to
cover office visits and other services. Dispensary items are not
eligible for coverage under payment
plans. Also, if you are over 65 years of age, be sure and ask
for the senior discount.
Yellowstone
Naturopathic Clinic does have a 24 hour cancellation policy. We
do make courtesy confirmation
calls the day before your appointment. If you cannot keep your
appointment, please let us know
as soon as possible so we may offer the time to another patient.
If you miss your appointment
or cancel without 24 hours notice you will be billed for the
half of the time scheduled as
we have reserved this time specifically for you. If
you have any questions or concerns please
feel free to call the office at 406.259.5096. Thank you and we
look forward to working with you.
