Career Summary:
While completing her medical education, Dr. Brayko served at Bastyr University as a student and staff counselor and as a teaching assistant for diagnostic classes.  She was also involved in research examining the effectiveness of naturopathic treatments for heart disease, diabetes, and hypercholesterolemia.  As part of her training, she worked with an array of patient populations and conditions in hospitals, clinics, senior centers, and homeless shelters.

Before medical school, Dr. Brayko worked as an architect and product designer for a sustainable design firm in the San Francisco Bay area.  Her focus there was on therapeutic, healing architecture, demonstrating how space affects behavior through sensory experience and participation.
