We offer traditional Mesotherapy at YNC for pain relief, cellulite reduction or elimination, and skin nourishment.  Pain treatments are effective for tennis elbow, Achilles tendonitis, muscle spasms, chronic pain, migraine headaches, arthritis, neuropathic pain, and spinal pain not relieved by conventional medicine.  MesoGlow, the skin treatment, is commonly referred to as a nonsurgical face lift.

Our practices differ from cosmetic procedures termed mesotherapy by the American Society of Aesthetics and Mesotherapy.  Traditional Mesotherapy has been mainstream medicine in France for more than 50 years, and is used there by more than 16,000 licensed practitioners.

During treatment, a medicinal solution is injected intracutaneously – the needle penetrates only 4 mm – into the skin over the area of concern.  The skin acts as a time-release mechanism for medicine to reach injured tissues.  The more superficial the injection, the longer the medicine remains in place, penetrating to deeper tissues.  Solutions used include a local anesthetic (procaine or lidocaine), a vasodilator to stimulate blood flow (such as melilotus), a multivitamin, and additional substances depending on the purpose of treatment.

Treatment frequency varies, with one to three treatments common for pain relief and ten treatments typically required for cellulite reduction.
