Career Summary:
After a moped accident in 2005, Jessica’s life was transformed by healing body work. She was motivated by the experience to seek training and licensure as a massage therapist, completing 1000 hours of intensive coursework accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy (COMTA). She is skilled in a wide range of massage techniques, and has studied anatomy, pathology, physiology, kinesiology, hydrotherapy theory and applications, and professional ethics and communications. She has worked in the spa industry and in private practice since 2006 and joined YNC in 2011.
Jessica works with Dr. Day in the Oasis Health Spa. Her work is intuitive and informed by the needs of the individual on her table. She focuses on underlying structural and postural patterns and emphasizes client education and involvement as the cornerstones of healing.
