Career Summary:
Before joining YNC, Dr. Day practiced as a naturopathic physician in Sultan, Washington, where she completed her medical residency. Sultan is a small town located at the base of Mt. Rainer, about 40 miles northeast of Seattle. Dr. Day offered naturopathic care and body work in her practice, with the latter including contrast hydrotherapy, Bowen Work, and muscle energy stretching. In her internship at Bastyr University, Dr. Day administered German hydrotherapy, colon hydrotherapy, contrast showers, peloid pack and baths, and body wraps.
As director of the Oasis Health Spa at YNC, Dr. Day will manage day-to-day spa operations, provide all hydrotherapy services, and manage the spa’s blog, which will focus on the health benefits of spa treatments and eating real foods. She has added services to the spa, including Bowen work, a system of gentle, non-invasive, soft-tissue moves to relieve tension, and body sugaring, a natural alternative to body waxing for hair removal.
