System corrections help restore peak performance, activate natural healing mechanisms, and reduce the negative effects of stress. Useful for treating a wide range of ailments, including migraines and headaches, chronic neck and back pain, chronic fatigue, scoliosis, emotional difficulties, spinal cord injuries, temporomandibular joint syndrome (TMJ), autism, post-traumatic stress disorder, and ADD/ADHD.

Description: Gliding, rolling, kneading, tapping, and shaking strokes – combined with active and passive movements
of the joints – to relax the muscles, loosen the joints, stimulate the skin and nervous system, and speed blood return from the extremities. Oil or lotion is typically applied to reduce friction, and rubbing is done in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart. Myofascial Release Massage
Cost: 1 hr - $50; 1-1/2 hr - $70; 2 hr - $85
Therapist: Shawn Farr (for appointment, call 406-281-1110)
Description: Long stretching strokes (with fingers, palms, elbows, or forearms), gentle traction, and positioning to
release tension in the fascia, the soft connective tissue between muscles and bones. As a result of trauma, illness, chronic pain, or stress, fascia can tighten up and pull bones and muscles out of place, causing localized pain and stiffness. Myofascial techniques coax muscles in spasm to relax, breaking adhesions in the fascia, improving blood flow, and restoring flexibility and mobility.
Trigger-Point Massage
Cost: 1 hr - $50; 1-1/2 hr - $70; 2 hr - $85
Therapist: Shawn Farr (for appointment, call 406-281-1110)
Description: Concentrated finger pressure to release acute or chronic muscle tension or spasms at tender spots
called trigger points. Tightened from trauma, overuse, or poor posture, trigger points can themselves be painful, can cause pain in other areas of the body, and can limit range of motion. Pressure applied directly on a trigger point for a short time alleviates spasms and cramping, helps break up adhesions and calcifications, restores muscular flexibility and function, and restores blood flow to the tissues. This type of massage ─ also known as myotherapy or neuromuscular therapy ─ is highly highly effective for relief from repetitive stress syndrome, TMJ, carpal tunnel, headaches, back and shoulder pain, and elbow, hip, leg, and foot pain.
Deep-Tissue Massage
Cost: 1 hr - $50; 1-1/2 hr - $70; 2 hr - $85
Therapist: Shawn Farr (for appointment, call 406-281-1110)
Description: Deep, slow finger pressure, kneading, and palpation of contracted muscles, tendons, and fascia to
release chronic tension

Therapist: Shawn Farr (for info or appointment, call 406-281-1110)
Description: Placement of smooth, heated stones on tension points or acupuncture points (e.g., along the spine, in
the palms of the hand, between the toes), along with Swedish massage performed with a heated stone in the therapist’s hand. The therapy releases tight muscles, improves energy flow, and is deeply soothing and relaxing. Cold stones are sometimes used to ease inflammation or muscle injury.
